Live Classes
Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar - This is the required seminar for those pursuing certification to qualify as CDP/Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners or for those who just want to enhance their dementia education. Meets the Category II requirements for cognitive impairment/dementia education. Approved education for all states.
This is an 8 hour class and notebooks will be provided. Price is $150.00 per person with discounts for multiple attendees from the same facility
Live in-person classes will provide 3 ring binders, lecture, CE's and lunch on site
Continuing Educational Credit Approved for:
Alabama Board of Assisted Living Administrators 7.0 CE's
Best Life With Dementia is an approved provider of contact hours by the

Dementia Coaching
As a caregiver, do you have questions without answers? Would you like to have someone to talk with who will help you navigate your way through this dementia journey on a personal level? Are you interested in discussing your questions and concerns with someone who understands your frustration?
As your dementia coach, I will develop a plan to assist caregivers in their roles. As a Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer as well as a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and an RN (30+ years) working in long-term care, I understand your questions regarding dementia.
My coaching program consists of one-hour sessions (telephone or zoom meeting, your choice) once every 2 weeks (or according to our contract) to provide education, answer questions and guide the caregiver through the challenges of diagnoses, behavioral issues, personal care, placement if needed in a care facility and much more. I can join the caregiver at any point in your journey that meets our schedules.
In addition to the dementia coaching option, I offer a one hour consultation conveniently scheduled for you to ask questions regarding dementia and your loved one.
